On April 20th we held a training for this season’s crop of teachers who will be helping with our K-5 education at the Outdoor Classroom. If you missed the training, but are interested in participating, just get in touch with us.

This spring we will be learning about birds through “Fill the Bill” and exploration of the specialization birds have developed in their feet and bills for building nests and eating different types of food. We’ll also experiment with building nests, and investigating different types of nests. Finally, we’ll learn to listen for birds and see what birds inhabit our local forest and wetland habitats.
